I've been a psychologist in the Hinsdale area for over 20 years. I see adolescents and adults who struggle with a wide range of problems and concerns that impede their ability to function more fully or find more satisfaction in their life. Some of these difficulties include depression, anxiety, developing and maintaining relationships, anger management, and chronic unhappiness or emptiness. I also work with parents looking for guidance to better understand and help their children who may suffer with behavioral, developmental, or learning problems.
In addition providing individual therapy, I have many years of experience helping couples and families across the lifespan. More recently, I have developed a sub-specialty of helping couples during mid-life. I have completed Level 2 training in the Gottman Method of couples and marital therapy.
I see psychotherapy is a chance to clarify who you are, understand where you've been, and decide what you can do now to regain meaning and fulfillment in your life. As your therapist, my aim will be to help you become more thoughtful, attentive, and re-engaged in your life and your relationships.
